A great majority of people struggle with quieting their minds to do meditation. The important thing is to start off slowly. Practice quieting your mind for one minute; gradually increase to two minutes, and so on. The way to do this is to sit or lie in a quiet place and simply focus on your breathing. When a thought enters your mind, bring your attention back to your breathing. Another way that you can quiet your mind to do meditation is by focusing on God’s white light.
See his white light shine brightly on the top of your head. When your mind thinks about
all of those things that you need to get done, bring your attention back to the white light.
It may take much practice before you fully master quieting your mind. Once you master
this, you will feel great peace, joy and transformation from meditation. Not only will your mind and spirit greatly benefit and experience transformation from meditation, but your body will, too.
